ANALISIS FRAMING KOMPARATIF KONFLIK IRAN-ISRAEL PADA PEMBERITAAN DI AL JAZEERA DAN CNN INTERNATIONAL
Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis pembingkaian (framing) pemberitaan konflik Iran–Israel pada Juni 2025 di Al Jazeera dan CNN (edisi US/International) dengan menggunakan model framing Entman (1993) yang mencakup empat dimensi: problem definition, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, dan treatment recommendation. Data terdiri dari 20 artikel berita yang terbit pada 1–30 Juni 2025 dan dipilih berdasarkan fokus pada eskalasi militer serta respons diplomatik. Melalui pembacaan mendalam dan pengodean kualitatif, temuan menunjukkan perbedaan kerangka yang konsisten. Al Jazeera cenderung mendefinisikan masalah sebagai agresi Israel yang memicu krisis kemanusiaan, menempatkan Israel/AS sebagai penyebab eskalasi, memberi evaluasi moral negatif terhadap serangan Israel, dan merekomendasikan gencatan senjata serta jalur diplomasi. CNN lebih menekankan ancaman nuklir dan perilaku Iran sebagai akar persoalan, menyajikan aksi Israel-AS sebagai respons defensif yang dapat dibenarkan secara moral, serta mengisyaratkan tekanan militer yang dikombinasikan dengan diplomasi dari posisi kuat. Perbedaan sumber rujukan (pejabat AS/Israel vs pejabat/organisasi di Timur Tengah) turut mempengaruhi variasi frame
