Formulasi Dan Pengaruh Gel Ektrak Daun Cocor Bebek (Kalanchoe pinnata Lam.) Kombinasi Ektrak Lidah Buaya (Aloe Vera) Terhadap Penyembuhan Luka Bakar Pada Kelinci (Orytolagus cuniculus)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the extract Kalanchoe pinnata combined with aloe vera extract on the healing of burns in rabbits (Orytolagus cuniculus). In this study five variations of preparations were used. Where formulation I used extract Kalanchoe pinnata 2,5%, Formulation II Aloe Vera extract (Aloe vera) 10%, Formulation III a combination of extract Kalanchoe pinnata and Aloe vera extract. Formulation IV ointment bioplacenton is a positive control, formulation V based on HPMC as negative control. The gel preparation was then evaluated including organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity test and dispersion test.  The results showed that the combination study of Cocor bebek leaf extract Kalanchoe pinnata and Aloe vera had better activity than single use. Formulation I has an average healing activity of 47,6%, formulation II has a average healing activity of 49%, formulation III has an average healing activity of 59%, formulation IV has a average healing activity 62% and while formulation V has a average healing activity 46,3%.
