Uji Efek Antidiare Ekstrak Daun Bidara (Ziziphus mauritiana Lam.) Kombinasi Ekstrak Daun Beluntas (Pluchea indica L.) Terhadap Mencit Jantan (Mus musculus)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the antidiarrheal effect of Beluntas Leaf extract (Pluchea indica L.) combination of Bidara Leaf extract (Ziziphus maurtiana Lam.) and determine which combination is the most effective. This study used 15 mice, divided into 5 groups. I was given Na. CMC 1% w/v as a negative control group, Groups II, III, IV were given a combination of bidara leaf extract and beluntas leaf in a ratio of 75 ml: 25 ml, 50 ml: 50 ml and 25 ml: 75 ml. Meanwhile, group V was given Loperamide suspension as a comparison group. Before treatment, mice were induced with Oleum Ricini orally. The results showed that the combination of Bidara Leaf extract and Beluntas Leaf extract showed an antidiarrheal effect in mice. The combination of Bidara Leaf extract and Beluntas Leaf extract at a ratio of 25:75 gave the most effective antidiarrheal effect and was not significantly different from the administration of Loperamid-HCl suspension as a positive control.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efek antidiare ekstrak Daun Beluntas (Pluchea indica L.) kombinasi ekstrak Daun Bidara (Ziziphus maurtiana Lam.) dan menentukan pada kombinasi berapa yang paling efektif.. Penelitian ini menggunakan mencit sebanyak 15 ekor, dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok, kelompok I diberikan Na. CMC 1% b/v sebagai kelompok kontrol negatif, Kelompok II, III, IV diberikan kombinasi ekstrak daun bidara dan daun beluntas dengan perbandingan 75 ml : 25 ml, 50 ml : 50 ml dan 25 ml : 75 ml. Sedangkan kelompok V diberikan suspensi Loperamid sebagai kelompok pembanding. Sebelum perlakuan mencit diinduksi dengan Oleum Ricini secara peroral. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi ekstrak Daun Bidara dan ekstrak Daun Beluntas menunjukkan efek antidiare pada mencit. Kombinasi ekstrak Daun Bidara dan ekstrak Daun Beluntas pada perbandingan 25:75 memberikan efek antidiare yang paling efektif dan tidak berbeda nyata dengan pemberian suspensi Loperamid-HCl sebagai kontrol positif
