Tingkat Pengetahuan Pasien Tuberkulosis Tentang Penyakit Dan Pengobatan Penyakit Di Puskesmas Onohazumba Kabupaten Nias Selatan Tahun 2022
Abstract
Tuberculosis is a direct infectious disease caused by tuberculosis germs (Mycobacterium tuberculosis). The main symptoms of tuberculosis patients are persistent cough and phlegm for two weeks which can be followed by symptoms of phlegm mixed with blood, shortness of breath, weakness, decreased appetite. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of TB patients about tuberculosis disease and treatment at the Onohazumba Health Center. This research is a descriptive research that is prospective by giving a questionnaire to TB patients who seek treatment at the Onohazumba health center. The number of respondents used was 24 respondents. In this study, the parameters taken were based on gender, age, education and occupation. The results showed that the level of knowledge of tuberculosis treated at the Onohazumba health center was included in the category of sufficient level of knowledge, namely 58.4% (14 respondents), 29.1% (7 respondents) had good knowledge and 12.5% (3 respondents) had poor knowledge. The level of knowledge about tuberculosis treatment that seeks treatment at the Onohazumba health center is included in the category of sufficient level of knowledge, namely 62.5% (15 respondents), 29.1% (7 respondents) have good knowledge and 8.4% (2 respondents) have less knowledge. The conclusion of this study is that the level of knowledge of TB patients about disease and disease treatment at the Onohazumba Health Center is sufficient.
