Faktor Pendidikan dan Pengetahuan Terhadap Kepemilikan Jamban di Desa Silanga Kabupaten Parigi Moutong
Abstract
Jamban merupakan fasilitas pembuangan kotoran manusia yang penting dalam memutus rantai penyebaran penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan dengan kepemilikan jamban. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik dengan desain cross sectional study untuk menganalisis hubungan pendidikan dan pengetahuan terhadap kepemilikan jamban keluarga. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun 2023 di Desa Silanga Kecamatan Siniu Kabupaten Parigi Moutong, dengan populasi 372 KK dan sampel 79 KK yang dipilih secara acak dari 3 dusun. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan survei dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat kemudiandisajikan dalam tabel dan dinarasikan. Berdasarkan analisis data dari 79 responden, ditemukan bahwa mayoritas responden dengan tingkat pendidikan tinggi dan pengetahuan baik memiliki jamban. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p-value yang signifikan, pendidikan (pv=0,002) dan tingkat pengetahuan (pv=0,000) yang mengindikasikan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara variabel-variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat memiliki jamban.
