Perilaku Pasien Terhadap Pemanfaatan Layanan Smoking Cessation Di Balai Besar Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat Makassar
Abstract
Merokok merupakan salah satu faktor risiko utama berbagai penyakit kronis seperti penyakit jantung, stroke, dan penyakit paru obstruktif kronis. Salah satu intervensi yang diterapkan untuk mengurangi prevalensi merokok adalah layanan smoking cessation atau layanan berhenti merokok, yang bertujuan membantu individu untuk berhenti merokok secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan sampel sebanyak 300 orang. Secara kesuluruhan pasien layanan smoking cessation adalah berjenis kelamin laki-laki, dengan umur mulai merokok 16-20 tahun, alasan berhenti merokok karena memiliki penyakit yang diakibatkan dari aktivitas merokok tersebut dan dimotivasi oleh keluarga pasien sendiri, sama halnya dengan pemanfaatan layanan smoking cessation. Disarankan agar upaya-upaya berhenti merokok diberi perhatian lebih oleh pemerintah dengan meningkatkan kualitas dan marketing layanan smoking cessation.
