Abstract

Diare pada balita masih menjadi masalah kesehatan utama, terutama di Sulawesi Tenggara. Kondisi ini dipicu oleh berbagai faktor, sehingga diperlukan kajian untuk memperkuat upaya pencegahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui determinan kejadian diare pada balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kolono. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September 2025, menggunakan desain potong lintang dengan pendekatan analitik observasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel konfensional sebanyak 199 ibu dengan balita berusia 1 hingga 5 tahun. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen modifikasi yang dirancang berdasarkan pedoman Kementerian Kesehatan yang menggabungkan dimensi pengetahuan, kepemilikan toilet sehat, pola asuh, pencucian botol susu, akses air bersih, dan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat dengan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan (p = 0,024), kepemilikan toilet sehat (p = 0,002), pola asuh (p = 0,006), pencucian botol susu (p = 0,021), akses air bersih (p = 0,001), pemberian ASI eksklusif (p = 0,004), dan diare pada balita. Akses terhadap air bersih ditetapkan sebagai faktor paling dominan (OR = 15,854; 95% CI: 3,282–76,588). Implikasinya, peningkatan akses dan kualitas air bersih menjadi prioritas utama dalam upaya pencegahan diare pada balita di tingkat rumah tangga maupun komunitas.
