Hubungan Intensitas Penggunaan Gadget dengan Kejadian Speech Delay pada Anak usia 24-60 Bulan
Abstract
Keterlambatan bicara pada anak berpotensi mengalami keterlambatan pada akademik anak yang berdampak terhadap kesejahteraan social, emosional/perilaku dan ekonomi yang menjadi pusat perhatian. Prevalensi keterlambatan bicara di Indonesia berkisar 5-10%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keterkaitan atau hubungan intensitas penggunaan Gadget dengan kejadian speech delay pada anak usia 24-60 bulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross sesctional. Adapun populasi dan sampel peneliiam ini adalah anak dengan usia 24 sampai dengan 60 bulan yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Penelitian dilakukan sejak bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2023 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lubuk Baja Kota Batam yang meliputi kelurahan Baloi Indah, kelurahan Batu Selicin, kelurahan Kampung Pelita, kelurahan Lubuk Baja Kota dan kelurahan Tanjung Uma. Hasil penelitian dengan analisis uji chi square yaitu P-value 0.000 < 0.05 artinya terdapat hubungan penggunaan Gadget dengan keterlambatan bicara dan bahasa pada Balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lubuk Baja Kota Batam. Kurang nya perhatian orang tua terhadap anak yang intens menggunakan Gadget sehingga anak terlambat bicara dan adanya gangguan bahasa yang akan berdampak pada status akademik, emosional dan kesejahteraan sosial.
