Karakteristik Demografis dan Faktor Motivasi Donor Darah Sukarela Reguler: Studi Cross Sectional

Abstract

Ketersediaan darah yang berkelanjutan masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan masyarakat dan memerlukan pemahaman mengenai faktor yang memengaruhi donor darah rutin. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara karakteristik demografis dan faktor motivasi dengan kebiasaan donor darah rutin pada relawan donor darah sukarela. Studi potong lintang ini dilakukan di Kota Pekanbaru, Indonesia, pada Agustus–September 2025, melibatkan 182 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi melalui kuesioner daring. Variabel yang dianalisis meliputi karakteristik demografis, jenis motivasi donor darah, dan status donor rutin. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square atau Fisher’s exact test sesuai distribusi data, dengan tingkat signifikansi p<0,05. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa motivasi empati dan kemanusiaan (p<0,001), pengalaman kebutuhan darah sebelumnya (p=0,002), motivasi kesehatan (p=0,041), dan motivasi religius (p=0,048) berhubungan signifikan dengan donor darah rutin. Sebaliknya, motivasi berupa ajakan teman atau komunitas tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna (p=0,672). Tidak seluruh karakteristik demografis menunjukkan hubungan signifikan dengan donor darah rutin. Kesimpulannya, faktor motivasi tertentu, terutama yang bersifat intrinsik dan berbasis pengalaman personal, berasosiasi dengan kebiasaan donor darah rutin.
