Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas kebijakan pencegahan stunting di Kota Makassar dan mengidentifikasi hambatan-hambatan yang mempengaruhi implementasi kebijakan tersebut. Dengan prevalensi stunting yang masih tinggi di beberapa kecamatan, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana kebijakan yang ada berfungsi dalam mengurangi prevalensi stunting dan menemukan faktor-faktor yang menghambat keberhasilan program. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi perbaikan kebijakan dan pelaksanaannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan melibatkan analisis data kualitatif dari sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder, termasuk data prevalensi stunting dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan perangkat lunak NVivo 12 Plus untuk menganalisis data kualitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat kemajuan dalam beberapa aspek kebijakan pencegahan stunting, seperti program pemberian makanan bergizi dan kampanye edukasi, masih ada kendala signifikan yang menghambat efektivitasnya. Hambatan utama termasuk kurangnya integrasi regulasi, rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan koordinasi yang lemah antara berbagai pihak. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan reformasi dalam kebijakan, peningkatan alokasi anggaran, serta pendekatan edukasi yang lebih adaptif dan berbasis komunitas untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pencegahan stunting dan mengurangi prevalensi stunting secara signifikan di Kota Makassar.
