Abstract

Buang air besar sembarangan merupakan kegiatan yang berpotensi menimbulkan risiko kesehatan, terutama bagi anak-anak, dengan hubungan yang jelas terhadap penyakit diare. Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk membandingkan pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pementasan bapandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen, dengan desain pre test dan post test control group, melibatkan 35 peserta di SDN Pemurus Baru 1 dan 32 peserta di SDN Pemurus Dalam 1. Intervensi pemetasan bapandung diberikan kepada kelompok intervensi, setelah itu dilakukan pengukuran pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan, di mana 84% siswa kelompok intervensi mencapai kategori baik setelah intervensi, dibandingkan dengan 88% yang berada di kategori kurang sebelum intervensi. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS dengan uji wilcoxon. Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai p hitung dibandingkan dengan nilai α lebih kecil sehingga didapatkan hasil yaitu adanya pengaruh antara pementasan bapandung terhadap tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang bahaya buang air besar sembarangan.
